Celebrity Traitors returns to screens tomorrow with a cliffhanger as one exit is sealed, but with a banishment also on the way, fans believe they have uncovered who is heading home.
Last week, the Traitors had to choose four people they could kill, but one was given a key to lock their crypt and prevent themselves from being murdered. When viewers last saw the four celebrities, they were running through the forest with the Traitors on their tails. The question remains whether they will choose to murder Rob, Ross or Romesh, or try to kill Leigh-Anne and fail.
Fans point the finger at Joanne
After the 'murder', there is expected to be another roundtable, and fans are convinced they know who is set to be voted out next on the BBC show. Currently, Hannah Fry – who was recruited to be a Traitor after Richard's exit – is in hot water and under suspicion from most of the team, but fans think Hannah may have successfully pointed the suspicion in the direction of someone else.
It all stems from Hannah's theory that Leigh-Anne was a Traitor because she was seen reapplying her lip gloss later on in the evening. Hannah claimed Leigh-Anne was getting ready to appear in the turret later when everyone went to 'bed'.
One fan wrote on Reddit: "If you're going to criticise anyone's gameplay through all that, it's obviously Joanne. You'd be mad to carry someone else's water at the round table like that. And for what? Nobody was looking at her."
Hannah's mathematical strategy
A second added: "You say this was foolish but she was smart enough to make Joanne be the one that said it as if it was her observation at the round table, which puts a target on Joanne's back unless a traitor was present when she said it originally."
Before she entered the castle, Hannah revealed she was planning to use her mathematical skills to her benefit. "I'm here to fulfil the nerd quota for the year, and I'm taking my responsibility extremely seriously. Have I gone back through the data of all the previous games and tried to find statistically significant patterns? Yes! Are any of these going to help me? Honestly, who knows?! There is a pattern in the way that Traitors behave," she said.
"For example, Traitors often do a burn vote in the first few episodes when they're settling in. By that I mean they just vote for somebody that nobody else has voted for. Cat last year was a really good example of this, but across the board, the only problem with picking up on those signals is that the Faithfuls are such an absolute mess. They are so all over the place that it's really hard to pick out what the signal is. That's just one example of a little bit of maths that I've got in my back pocket."
