Official records show that Brennon Lemieux initiated divorce proceedings on November 5, nearly a full month before the couple announced their separation to fans on December 3. The petition, obtained by PEOPLE magazine, states the central reason for the split: "the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities".
The legal filing elaborates that this discord "destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation". Brennon also requested in the documents to retain any assets he owned prior to their marriage.
