Emmerdale spoilers for Sunday, October 11 reveal that Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) finds an unexpected new ally, while Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) plots revenge. The episode airs at 8pm on ITV1 or streams from 7am on ITVX or YouTube.
Sadie's unexpected ally
After being exposed for lying about Nicola's (Nicola Wheeler) husband Jimmy (Nick Miles), Sadie is turned away by Nicola as she tries to cover her tracks. However, Joe, still grieving the loss of Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), recruits Sadie for a new scheme in a bid to seek ultimate revenge.
Earlier in the episode, a drunk Joe prepares to drive his car, but DS Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge) steps in front of the vehicle and refuses to move despite his angry pleas as he revs the engine. Thea takes Joe home, and Kim Tate (Claire King) is grateful for her leniency, then berates Joe for making a similar mistake to Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson), who faces prison for his role in the accident that led to Dawn and Jimmy's demise.
Gabby makes amends
Elsewhere, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) visits Jimmy's grave with flowers. Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) suggests she make it up to Nicola with actions rather than words. Gabby later offers Nicola money from her deal with Robert to sell The Hide, but a coughing fit prompts Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) to urge her to explain why she was in hospital. Nicola feels for her, and Gabby and Laurel hand over the keys to The Hide.
Aaron (Danny Miller), who urged Robert to make things right with Nicola over stolen money, is left confused. Robert explains the situation and vows to stop scheming once the deal goes through. Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy) is delighted when Robert makes her manager.
Vinny's family support
The episode also sees Vinny lay flowers at Jimmy's grave, with Mandy (Lisa Riley) inviting him to tea ahead of his court date, as the whole family gathers to show their love.
