Big Brother fans are hailing a "twist we needed" after a sneak peek at tonight's show appeared to reveal a possible showmance between housemates Pauline and Twinks.
A clip of this evening's episode (October 9) was shared on the show's Instagram account earlier today and appears to show a glimpse of what the final task for the 'Week of Revelations' will be. In the snug, housemates discover that an unusual vending machine type device has been installed.
It instructs them that they must offer up the most interesting rumours from the house. Dubbed Gossip Central, if contestants offer up something Big Brother deems worthwhile, they are rewarded with a voucher that entitles them to a treat in the Diary Room. It does not take long before the housemates are baring all in order to earn something special, although it is not yet known exactly what is on offer.
Twinks causes 'panic' with Gossip Central confession
Fans can't wait to see how it all plays out as one moment caught their attention. Twinks told the machine: "I think Pauline has got a big fat crush on me. Look, I'm not saying I'm not flirting with Pauline but I think Pauline is flirting with me, big time."
In a conversation with Harry, Pauline considered what gossip she should share. She said: "I've actually got one but I don't think I should say it. I was thinking, if she was single, she would have probably tried to get with me. Some of the stuff that she says, I'm like: 'Careful now'."
Later the pair appear to be having a flirty back and forth once again in the bedroom. It continued in the garden as Twinks declared: "P is thirsty. I'm giving P, gay panic. Twinksy the turner. No girl's safe."
Fans change eviction votes to save Pauline
This has now got some fans worried as Pauline faces the possibility of eviction tonight alongside Rob. One person jokingly said: "Are people ready to complain about this 'showmance'? Twinks is like a cat in heat ever since she went into that house."
But many declared that it has made up their mind about who to vote to evict tonight. Some even confess they have waited until the last moment and now need to see how this latest development plays out.
One person commented: "I’m so sorry but my 5 votes have gone to evict Rob… I need to see this develop." Another added: "Same here, I’ve changed my mind on a Friday so many times haha."
Someone else said: "I’m crying, glad I saved my votes. The amount of storylines this season." While one person demanded: "We need to keep Pauline in this house I’m not joking."
A fan declared: "Love this!!!! This is the twist we NEEEEEDED!" While someone on the Big Brother UK subreddit replied: "Can’t we have a fake eviction and keep them both in! Pleaseeeee."
