Amanda Owen has given fans a glimpse into the busy family life behind Our Farm Next Door ahead of the new series. Posting on Instagram before the return of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and the Kids, she said the family picture offered only a snapshot of the work going into the renovation project at Anty John's.
Amanda wrote: "It took a bit of planning, a degree of luck and a dash of bribery to get everyone together for this family picture last weekend. The idea was of course, to get everyone involved in the renovation of our farm next door together to let the viewers at home known who and what to expect from our new TV series. But I can honestly say this picture only scratches the surface."
Life Doesn't Stop When Cameras Stop Rolling
The Our Yorkshire Farm star admitted there was "not enough time to explain" the sheer amount going on behind the scenes, saying "life doesn't stop" when the cameras stop rolling.
With Amanda and Clive appearing alongside their children again, viewers who followed them on Our Yorkshire Farm are wondering whether their relationship has changed since their split. As of October 2026, Amanda and Clive have not got back together. They continue to co-parent their children and work together at the family farm, reports the Mirror.
Amanda and Clive's Current Relationship
In December 2025, Amanda admitted she "just shut down" following her split from Clive, sharing with the Daily Mail that she developed an eating disorder. The pair announced their separation in June 2022 after 22 years of marriage.
According to The Northern Echo, Amanda and Clive remain friends and farming partners, with Amanda saying the space afforded by their separation had brought a "far healthier and better dynamic", but made clear that getting along did not mean they had resumed their romantic relationship.
Amanda was 21 when she first met Clive, who was 42, giving them a 21-year age gap. After their separation, Amanda had a brief relationship with web designer Robert Davies. He was known to both Amanda and Clive and had helped with the farm's online presence. Amanda and Robert have since split.
Clive's Candid Comments on the Split
In September 2024, Clive spoke candidly about the reason behind the split, telling the Daily Mail: "Amanda and I had done everything on the farm together, struggled hard through thick and thin for 20 years and then, all of a sudden, it felt like that’s not how it worked anymore."
He "felt left behind" while Amanda’s fame increased, adding: "If I’m honest about it, I didn’t want to accept that I was no longer the breadwinner for our family. It was especially hard knowing that Amanda, who is a very beautiful woman, would be going out all dressed up to launches and events and meeting other people."
What Happens in the New Series?
The family's renovation of Anty Johns is once again central to Our Farm Next Door, with work on their new home taking place alongside the demands of running the farm. The opening episode features Christmas morning at Ravenseat Farm, where the family come together to open their presents.
Snow arrives in Swaledale over New Year, giving the children a chance to enjoy the wintry landscape. Meanwhile, Amanda and son Miles tackle painting the newly plastered walls at Anty Johns — another step towards completing the property. Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and the Kids airs on More4 on October 5 at 9pm.
