The FA Cup fourth qualifying round draw has been made, with 64 teams just one win away from reaching the competition proper. The 32 matches are scheduled to take place on or around October 17, offering winners a potential blockbuster tie against Football League opposition in November.
The 40 winners from the third qualifying round are joined in the draw by the 24 National League clubs. At least two ninth-tier teams remain in contention after SE Dons and Tadley Calleva both beat higher-ranked opponents in qualifying, with Trafford FC earning a midweek replay against Atherton Collieries for a possible third.
Draw split into north and south sections
At this stage of the competition, the draw is split into north and south sections, with 32 teams in each. The regional split spares teams extremely long journeys. Former EFL clubs feature prominently, with recently-relegated Harrogate and Barrow in the north section and Forest Green Rovers among those in the south.
Live coverage underway
The draw took place at 2pm, with build-up and live updates provided throughout. Coverage included background on the teams ahead of a significant round of fixtures, with the winners advancing to the first round proper.
