Solomun's 'Historic' Alexandra Palace Shows Mark High Point in London Love Affair
Solomun's 'magical' Alexandra Palace shows announced

World-renowned DJ Solomun is preparing for what he describes as a "historic and magical" moment in his career with two landmark shows at London's iconic Alexandra Palace. The Bosnian-German star, fresh from another triumphant summer residency at Ibiza's Pacha, is set to bring his signature sound to the capital for a highly anticipated double-header.

A Dream Venue and a Natural High Point

Speaking exclusively about the upcoming events, Solomun expressed deep gratitude and a sense of culmination. "It’s truly an iconic venue in London," he said. "I feel very grateful to be able to play two shows there. In many ways, it feels like a natural high point in my long-standing love affair with the city’s nightlife." The Ally Pally dates represent a dream realised for the DJ, who is famed for his marathon sets and emotive house and techno selections.

The Philosophy of Freedom and Future Collaborations

Solomun credits his enduring success to a relentless commitment to artistic freedom. "I allow myself to experiment with new tracks, different directions. I never want to repeat myself," he explained. This ethos will define his Alexandra Palace performances, where he vows to play "lots of fresh unreleased tracks" to gauge the crowd's immediate reaction.

The artist, known for massive remixes for Foals, Lana Del Rey, Pet Shop Boys, and Jamiroquai, also revealed exciting new collaborative projects. He has recently returned to the studio with INEZ from the German band ÄTNA, following their previous work on 'TukTuk'. More surprisingly, he disclosed a studio session with American electronic titan Skrillex, a partnership he described as particularly thrilling.

No Signs of Slowing Down

Solomun's London return caps a monumental 2025, which saw him command dancefloors across the globe. Highlights included:

  • His acclaimed Solomun +1 residency at Pacha, Ibiza.
  • Spectacular sets at historic venues like the Old Royal Naval College in London and Chateau de Chantilly in France.
  • A cinematic performance at the groundbreaking Sphere in Las Vegas.

Looking ahead, Solomun remains open to diverse musical partnerships, drawn to voices heavy with emotion and artists who craft atmosphere with minimal elements. "From Hip hop to folk - I have a very broad taste," he admitted, refusing to rule out a return to more mainstream work.

For the Ally Pally shows, his promise is simple yet profound: to give his best and create a lasting connection. "With a longer set, I have room to play with expectation, to stretch the journey, to let the night breathe," he said. "Surprises work best when they appear naturally." For London's clubbers, two unforgettable nights are firmly on the horizon.
