Peking Duk to Play AFLW Grand Final After ARIA Win

Musical Act Announced for Major Sporting Finale

Adam Hyde, the musician boyfriend of media personality Abbie Chatfield, has shared some thrilling professional news. His acclaimed band, Peking Duk, has been confirmed as the headline act for the Telstra pre-game entertainment at this Saturday's AFLW Grand Final.

The 35-year-old artist, who also performs under the stage name Keli Holiday, will take to the stage with his musical partner, Reuben Styles, ahead of the highly anticipated match between North Melbourne and Brisbane.

A Huge Honour for the Band

Expressing the duo's excitement, Reuben Styles told the Herald Sun, 'To get the call up and have the chance to play at the NAB AFLW Grand Final is a huge honour for us.' He emphatically added, 'We are going to put everything we can into this.'

As part of their set, Adam is also scheduled to perform his recent solo single, Dancing2.

Following a Memorable ARIA Night

This exciting announcement comes hot on the heels of a memorable night for Adam at the 2025 ARIA Awards in Sydney this past Wednesday. Held at the Hordern Pavilion, the event saw him win the prestigious award for Best Video for his hit song, Dancing2.

The acceptance speech, however, is what truly set social media alight. After dedicating the award to his girlfriend Abbie, who inspired the song and was seen tearfully filming from the audience, Adam concluded with an unfiltered thank you. 'To every person who supports Australian music, you’re a sick c**t,' he declared, creating an instantly viral moment.

Reflecting on the win with her co-host Concetta Caristo, a proud Abbie Chatfield stated, 'I was almost crying, and all of his team as well was independent and it's so important to support independent artists.' She then cheekily hinted at their celebration plans, adding, 'We're gonna have a lot of fun tonight after the show.'

The glamorous couple certainly turned heads on the red carpet. Abbie ensured all eyes were on her in a stunning off-shoulder, corseted plaid gown featuring a ruched skirt and a high leg slit, while Adam cut a dashing figure in a grey unbuttoned blazer that showed off his tattooed chest.
