Leigh-Anne Pinnock Drops Sizzling 'Most Wanted' Video Ahead of Debut Album
Leigh-Anne Pinnock releases 'Most Wanted' music video

Former Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has set the stage for her solo era ablaze, releasing the scorching music video for her latest single, 'Most Wanted'. The track serves as the fourth official preview of her hotly anticipated debut album, which is scheduled for an independent release on 20 February.

A Fierce Visual Showcase

The 34-year-old singer, who is of Jamaican and Bajan heritage, commands attention in the sultry visual, directed by Miranda May. Dressed in a skimpy blue draped co-ord, Leigh-Anne showcases her phenomenal frame through a powerful and sexy dance routine, dropping to the floor and thrusting with unapologetic confidence. The video features a passionate on-screen chemistry with featured Jamaican dancehall artist, Valiant, with whom she trades verses, mirroring the track's intense energy.

Speaking about the collaboration, Leigh-Anne explained that Valiant was the perfect fit. "He adds that undeniable Jamaican power and energy that takes the song to another level," she said. The song itself was born from a demo written by Odeal, which Leigh-Anne then reworked with Jamaican super-producer Rvssian—known for hits with Vybz Kartel and Ayra Starr—marking their second collaboration following last year's 'Friends'.

An Album of Authenticity and Empowerment

'Most Wanted' follows previous singles 'Dead & Gone', 'Burning Up', and 'Been A Minute', all building towards her first full-length project. Leigh-Anne describes the album as her truest artistic statement to date. "This album is the truest representation of me as an artist," she revealed. "Versatile, rooted in reggae and my heritage, but stamped with pop. It's personal and impossible to box in."

She emphasised the record's empowering message, particularly for women. "I love making music that empowers women to feel their most beautiful, confident and unapologetic selves," Leigh-Anne stated. "'Most Wanted' is about owning your presence, your power, and your desirability. I want everyone listening to tap into that most wanted energy and feel unstoppable."

Navigating Solo Stardom and Personal Challenges

The London-born star's journey to this point has been marked by significant professional and personal milestones. She is releasing the album independently after parting ways with Warner Records in January, citing the label's lack of budget to support her new music. This move towards independence coincides with managing a high-profile career alongside motherhood, as she raises twins with her footballer husband, Andre Gray.

Leigh-Anne recently opened up about a testing period in her marriage, confessing that Gray had "lost her trust" following his initial move to play football overseas in Saudi Arabia. Speaking on Paloma Faith's podcast, she described the experience as a "betrayal" and "heartbreak." However, she credited therapy and Gray's willingness to change for helping them rebuild. "He went to therapy," she shared. "For us, what really helped... he had more time to himself to kind of look and realise that everything that he was doing was not how you make a relationship work."

Leigh-Anne reflected on the power of forgiveness, stating they are now in a "really beautiful place." She concluded, "Don't see forgiveness as a weak thing to do, it can be a really powerful and healing thing." As she prepares to launch her debut album, Leigh-Anne Pinnock is firmly in control, showcasing a new chapter defined by artistic freedom, personal resilience, and fierce, unapologetic energy.
