Former Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall has sent her fans into a frenzy this week, first by announcing a major expansion of her debut solo album and then by sharing a series of sultry new images on social media.
New Music and a Daring Fashion Moment
The 32-year-old hitmaker delighted followers on Monday with a striking Instagram post. Jade posed in a semi-sheer black corset and lined tights, seated at her dressing table, captioning the snap: 'Show me love, give me faith ✨ Which new song is everyone looking forward to the most?'
This glamorous reveal came hot on the heels of her exciting musical announcement. Just days earlier, Jade confirmed she will release a deluxe version of her first solo record, titled 'That's Showbiz Baby! The Encore'. The extended album is scheduled to drop on December 5.
What's on the Deluxe Tracklist?
Jade's debut album, 'That's Showbiz Baby', originally released in September, was an instant success. It soared to number three on the UK charts and secured the biggest opening week for any debut album in 2025.
The 'Encore' edition promises even more for fans. It will include all the original tracks plus eight brand new songs. The new material features the powerful 'Church', the socially charged anthem 'This Is What We Dance For', and a cover of Madonna's classic 'Frozen'. The full list of additional tracks is:
- Dreamcheater
- Best You Could
- Use Me
- If My Heart Was A House
- Tar
The deluxe version will also bundle in her previously released solo singles: 'Fantasy', 'FUFN', 'Plastic Box', and her breakthrough hit, 'Angel Of My Dreams'. That debut single alone has amassed a staggering over 107 million streams, launching her post-Little Mix career with immense force.
From Group Hiatus to Solo Stardom
Jade's journey to this point has been one of significant adaptation. In a recent cover interview for Harper's Bazaar's December/January issue, where she received the Musician Award at their Women Of The Year ceremony, she opened up about life after Little Mix's indefinite hiatus, announced in May 2022.
'I struggled the most to adapt to life after the group,' Jade admitted, noting that bandmates Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock had families as a new focus. 'It was just me. I didn’t know what to do with myself. Since I was 18, I lived and breathed Little Mix.'
She described the constant pressure within the chart-topping girl group, formed on The X Factor in 2011, as 'cut-throat', recalling anxiety over chart positions even at their peak. Now, as a solo artist, she has forged her own path to critical and commercial acclaim.
This year, Jade made history by becoming the first former girl group member to win a BRIT Award as a solo artist, taking home the gong for Best Pop Act in March 2025.
She is currently in the midst of her first solo headline tour across the UK and Ireland, with plans to take the show to the US, Canada, and Europe through to March next year, concluding in Hamburg.
With support from famous friends like Mel C and Lily Allen, who praised her songwriting, and a deluxe album on the horizon, Jade Thirlwall's solo era is proving that the curtain is far from closed.
