Oasis fans can now watch the band's latest documentary, Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger, on Disney+ after its theatrical run. The feature-length film launched on the streaming service on Friday, October 9, following a successful time in cinemas.
The documentary charts the record-breaking Oasis Live '25 tour, which saw Liam and Noel Gallagher share the stage for the first time in 16 years. Last summer, the brothers performed alongside Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, Andy Bell, Gem Archer and Joey Waronker before millions of fans worldwide.
Streaming debut with price cut
The streaming release coincides with a Disney+ deal that reduces subscription costs by up to 26%. Until Tuesday, October 13, prices start at £4.99 per month (was £5.99) for a six-month Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription. Ad-free options include Disney+ Standard at £7.99 (was £9.99) or Disney+ Premium at £10.99 (was £14.99).
Both tiers include downloadable content for offline viewing, while Premium subscribers can stream in up to 4K Ultra HD across four devices simultaneously. Customers must commit to a six-month period to claim the reduced prices, after which the rate reverts unless cancelled.
New footage and bonus features
The Disney+ version includes major changes from the theatrical cut, with never-before-seen footage and additional content from Liam and Noel Gallagher's joint interview. Bonus features include full performances of "Wonderwall" and "Slide Away", plus exclusive renditions of "D'You Know What I Mean?" and "Half The World Away" that do not appear in the film.
The documentary comes from BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer, producer and director Steven Knight, best known for Peaky Blinders. It is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, whose previous work includes music documentaries Shut Up and Play the Hits and Meet Me in the Bathroom.
How to watch and fan reaction
Fans can watch the film by registering for a Disney+ subscription on the streamer's website or app on mobile, tablet or smart TVs. Disney+ does not offer a free trial, but some retailers provide discounted subscriptions. Tesco Clubcard holders can exchange £9 worth of vouchers for three months' access, and O2 customers can receive up to six months of Disney+ Standard through their O2 Extra. Virgin Media subscribers on the Max Volt bundle also receive a six-month O2 Extra.
The film was released to overwhelmingly positive reviews when it hit cinemas in September. One fan wrote on X: "Flew from America to watch in Manchester at Printworks. Absolute masterpiece." Another said: "Cried, laughed and sang my heart out. Can't wait to watch it all again on Disney+." Not all reactions were positive, with one viewer commenting: "Too much of fans crying and silly stories and not enough of the band. Supersonic is far superior."
