The new LEGO NINJAGO Destiny's Bounty Adventures board game, which includes buildable minifigures and an exclusive Nya figure, is now available on Amazon for £34.99. The game, suitable for ages eight and above, has already received praise from customers, with one calling it "a great game for any Ninjago fan."
Gameplay and Features
Designed for two to four players, the game sees players team up as ninjas Kai, Nya, Cole, or Zane to embark on a series of quests. Players work together to overcome challenges and battle foes, including serpents, pirates, and a bewildering postman. The game includes six different adventures, with choices that can change how each quest plays out, offering replay value for families.
This release marks the third partnership between LEGO and Asmodee, a worldwide creator of tabletop games. They said: "The game is made up with a little chance, a little strategy, and a lot of fun. I needed to watch a couple of short explainer videos to understand how the game works, but once you know the flow, it’s easy."
The same reviewer also pointed out a downside: "Don’t expect to play it right out of the box. There’s some initial setup, and they mixed all the pieces into three random bags. It took time to sort each character’s accessories. Also the storage boxes are not strong, and pieces fall out easily." Despite these issues, they concluded it was "a fun cooperative game with a good theme and a clever use of Lego pieces."
