Jeremy Clarkson has announced the purchase of new cows for Diddly Squat Farm as filming for series 6 of Clarkson's Farm continues. The former Top Gear presenter shared the news on social media after a trip to the Scottish Borders, where he declared the region Britain's most beautiful.
New Arrivals at Diddly Squat Farm
Clarkson posted on X (formerly Twitter) on July 4, 2026: "I’ve always never been able to decide which is Britain’s most beautiful bit: North Devon or the Yorkshire Dales. But I’ve just spent the last three days in the Scottish Borders and now I have an answer. God almighty, they’re beautiful. Also, I bought some cows there." Fans speculated the cows might be Highland cattle, but Clarkson did not confirm the breed.
Series 6 Filming Confirmed
The 66-year-old presenter also confirmed that season 6 of his Amazon Prime hit, Clarkson's Farm, is currently in production. This comes after he revealed a diagnosis of aggressive prostate cancer at the end of series 5, leaving his participation uncertain. In a previous episode, Clarkson told viewers: "I’m going to be here for a little while. I don’t know what’s going to happen. What I wanted to say was if this is all successful, I’ll see you in season six, and if it isn’t, I won’t. Take care, everyone."
Cancer Remission and Future Plans
In a recent interview, Clarkson declared he is in remission, calling himself "the world's luckiest man." On Instagram, he announced: "I am delighted to tell you season 6 of Clarkson’s Farm is currently being filmed, it’s in production. And that’s particularly good news for me because, well if you know you know. And if you don’t know, you need to watch season 5." It remains unclear whether season 6 will face delays due to Clarkson's treatment.
