Thylane Blondeau, the French model who was first dubbed the 'most beautiful girl in the world' at age six, has won the title again at 17. The accolade comes from TC Candler's annual '100 Most Beautiful Faces of the Year' list, 11 years after she first topped it.
Blondeau, daughter of footballer Patrick Blondeau and fashion designer Veronika Loubry, began modelling at four, walking for Jean Paul Gaultier. At six, she appeared on the cover of Vogue Enfants. She is now signed to IMG Models and has worked with Dolce & Gabbana, L'Oréal, and Lolita Lempicka.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Blondeau wrote: 'I just can’t believe it myself ...thanks so much @tccandler and everyone who voted. I never thought i was once number one !!' She also launched her own clothing line, Heaven May Clothing.
Previous winners include Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Meg Ryan. The list also featured Taiwanese singer Chou Tzu-yu in second place, Israeli model Yael Shelbia third, and American-Filipino actress Liza Soberano fourth.
