The wait is finally over for fans of Richard Osman's beloved novel as the full, glittering cast for the film adaptation of The Thursday Murder Club has been officially announced. To the delight of audiences, the project has assembled a veritable who's who of British acting talent.

Leading the ensemble are the Oscar-winning powerhouses Dame Helen Mirren and Sir Ben Kingsley. Mirren will take on the role of the formidable ex-spy Elizabeth Best, while Kingsley steps into the shoes of the gentle former psychiatrist Ibrahim Arif.

They are joined by an incredible supporting cast, including Pierce Brosnan as the charming former union leader Ron Ritchie and Sir David Tennant in a key role.
