Natasha Hamilton has spoken out about the possibility of an Atomic Kitten reunion, given England's strong performance in the World Cup. The singer, who released her debut EP Extraction on Friday, discussed the topic on the podcast Right Back At Ya!.
Hamilton revealed that a full reunion with bandmates Liz McClarnon and Jenny Frost is unlikely to be a long-term affair, citing logistical challenges. She said: 'Anything to do with Atomic Kitten - it's chaos. It's never just chill. It is all or nothing.' She noted that Frost, who lives in Ibiza, would have to spend significant time away from her family, making a prolonged reunion difficult.
However, Hamilton expressed interest in a one-off farewell performance. 'If we did it, it would be one night and one night only - and that's it,' she said. She even joked about moving to Ibiza to accommodate Frost.
In the same interview, Hamilton revealed that Atomic Kitten's record label axed a planned lesbian scene for the music video of their hit 'Be With You'. She explained: 'My scene was supposed to be me and a girl. That was what the video director wanted but the record label went, “Absolutely not!”' Hamilton added that she would have loved to do the scene, calling it 'representation'.
