Keir Starmer has endured another public humiliation, this time on live television, as an England fan directed a foul-mouthed chant at the prime minister during a World Cup broadcast.
GB News Incident in Dallas
Presenter Ben Leo was reporting from Dallas for GB News when he encountered a British supporter who revealed the chant being sung by England fans. The fan stated: "I'd like to say as well, everybody – the England fans – started singing 'f*** Keir Starmer'."
Laughing, Ben quickly apologized: "Don't say that! We apologise. He's a great prime minister, we apologise for any foul language!" The fan echoed, "Yeah, I'm sorry," but continued chuckling. When Ben asked for his point, the fan shouted: "Rupert Lowe, Restore Britain!" Ben replied, "Good man, thank you."
Recent Trump Humiliations
This incident follows a series of snubs by US President Donald Trump. At a press conference discussing the US-Iran war, Trump criticized Starmer for failing to send ships promptly, saying: "The prime minister said, 'They will be there as soon as the war is over.' I said, 'Did he just say that?' I couldn't believe it."
At the G7 summit, Trump turned his back on Starmer to greet French President Emmanuel Macron, offering only a pat on the shoulder. He also ignored the PM during handshakes with other world leaders.
