Romeo Beckham was seen wiping away tears as his brother Cruz performed a heartfelt song believed to be about their estranged sibling Brooklyn. The emotional moment took place at the Courtyard Theatre in London on Tuesday, March 24, where Cruz Beckham & The Breakers played a sold-out show.
An eyewitness told The Sun that Romeo, seated with parents David and Victoria, became visibly emotional when Cruz began singing 'Loneliest Boy'. The lyrics include the line: 'Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much, It’s breaking her heart.' Victoria comforted Romeo with an arm around his shoulder, while David placed his hand on her leg.
The performance was the first of three sold-out shows at the venue. Speaking to Rolling Stone about his parents' support, Cruz said: 'They’ve been so supportive. Very honest too, but I really listen and trust their feedback on everything, but in the end they support me unconditionally and I want to work hard to make them proud.'
The Beckham family has been embroiled in a bitter feud with eldest son Brooklyn, 26, who has reportedly cut ties and been absent from recent family events. He missed his father's 50th birthday and spent Christmas and New Year with his wife Nicola Peltz's family. In January, Brooklyn publicly accused his parents of prioritising 'Brand Beckham' and attempting to control media narratives, stating he has no interest in reconciliation.
