Rochelle Humes Shares Intimate Bath Selfie During Romantic Soho Farmhouse Getaway
Rochelle Humes has given fans a glimpse into her romantic weekend escape with husband Marvin Humes at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. The 36-year-old former Saturdays singer posted a series of intimate photos, including a naked bubble bath selfie, as the couple enjoyed a rare child-free retreat from their busy family life.
PDA-Filled Countryside Retreat
The celebrity couple, who have been married since 2012, packed on the public displays of affection during their countryside staycation. Photographs show them sharing passionate kisses both in their car upon arrival at the £500-per-night members' club and during various outings around the picturesque Oxfordshire estate. The getaway provided a welcome break from parenting duties for their three children: Alaia-Mai, 12, Valentina, 8, and Blake, 5.
Rochelle showcased her stylish countryside attire during the trip, wrapping up in a cosy brown jumper and leather jacket for outdoor excursions. Meanwhile, 40-year-old Marvin, formerly of boyband JLS, sported a North Face hat and checked coat as the pair enjoyed activities including a romantic bike ride through the scenic countryside surrounding the exclusive retreat.
Intimate Moments Shared on Social Media
The television presenter and singer didn't hold back when it came to sharing intimate moments from the romantic weekend on her social media channels. After stripping off for her bubble bath, Rochelle posted the revealing selfie alongside the heartfelt caption: 'Slow weekends with old friends. I ❤️ U @marvinhumes'. She later shared another cosy image of herself wrapped in a grey dressing gown, reinforcing the romantic theme of their getaway.
Forever Home Construction Update
The romantic weekend comes as the couple continues work on their ambitious 'forever home' project. Rochelle recently provided fans with an update on the construction progress via Instagram, sharing that their new panelled glass doors have been fitted downstairs, leading out to a substantial garden area. In a sweet moment captured during a site visit, both Rochelle and Marvin made a heart shape with their hands against the property's brick wall as sunlight streamed through the newly installed glass.
The couple initially revealed their building plans in June 2023 after receiving what Rochelle described as an 'out of the blue' offer on their previous £3.3 million north London family home. They subsequently found a plot in an area they 'have always loved so badly' and embarked on the construction project while temporarily living in rental accommodation.
Rochelle has been documenting the building journey sporadically, sharing that the upstairs windows have now been fitted and the exterior red brick walls are taking shape. This marks significant progress from early last year when she revealed the property was little more than bricks and scaffolding during initial construction phases.
Building Their Dream Home Together
In her initial announcement about the project, Rochelle expressed both excitement and apprehension about the building process, admitting: 'I've never built a house before. I'm so excited but we are now in a rental for eighteen months to two years.' She joked about their nomadic tendencies, suggesting that she and Marvin are 'definitely a little bit gypsy at heart' when it comes to embracing new adventures.
The couple have promised each other this will be their permanent family home, with Rochelle explaining they're building in the same general area as their previous property so their children can remain at the same schools. She described the project as representing a 'new chapter' for the family, combining their office relocation with the home construction as part of a comprehensive life update.
As they balance family life, career commitments, and their major building project, the romantic weekend at Soho Farmhouse provided a much-needed opportunity for the couple to reconnect and enjoy quality time together away from their usual responsibilities.
