Beckham Family Feud Intensifies as Brooklyn Accused of 'Cashing In'

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly 'shocked' after their eldest son, Brooklyn, appeared in a DoorDash advertisement that appears to reference his estrangement from the family. In the ad, Brooklyn says: 'You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home…' before laughing: 'It’s a long story.'

A source close to the Beckhams told The Sun: 'To do an ad based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke when his family is devastated and sister and grandparents are inconsolable… It just seems a tad hypocritical from someone claiming to want peace and privacy and then trying to cash in on it all.' The source added that Brooklyn is 'absolutely entitled' to make his own money, but 'taking the mick out of a deep-rooted, heartbreaking family situation is not the one.'

The ad comes amid ongoing tensions between Brooklyn and his parents. Over the weekend, pictures emerged of his 14-year-old sister Harper arriving at his home unannounced after the family attended David Beckham's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. A spokesperson for Brooklyn claimed the visit was 'choreographed for the cameras', a charge that sources close to David and Victoria called 'nasty allegations' and 'unnecessary'.
