Pop sensation Pixie Lott has delighted fans by sharing exciting details about her second pregnancy while opening up about the realities of parenting her 23-month-old son, Bertie.
The 32-year-old singer, who announced her pregnancy in June, revealed her due date in a recent interview, describing the experience as "wonderful but exhausting."
Juggling Motherhood and Pregnancy
Lott spoke candidly about the challenges of caring for a toddler while expecting. "Bertie keeps me on my toes," she laughed. "Some days I feel like I need three cups of tea just to keep up with his energy!"
The Mama Do hitmaker admitted that pregnancy fatigue has been more noticeable this time around. "With your first, you can nap whenever you want," she explained. "Now there's a little person who doesn't understand the concept of mummy needing a rest."
Preparing for Baby Number Two
Despite the tiredness, Lott expressed nothing but excitement about expanding her family with husband Oliver Cheshire. "We've started getting the nursery ready," she shared. "Bertie points to my bump and says 'baby' - though I'm not sure he fully understands yet!"
The couple have chosen to keep the gender a surprise, just as they did with Bertie. "There are so few genuine surprises in life these days," Lott mused. "We loved the anticipation last time."
Work-Life Balance
When asked about balancing her music career with motherhood, Lott said she's taking things "one day at a time." "My priorities have definitely shifted," she admitted. "But creativity finds its way - I've been writing some lullabies actually!"
Fans can expect to see the star back on stage eventually, though she's clear that family comes first. "Right now, I'm just focused on growing this little one and enjoying these precious moments with Bertie," she smiled.
