Paris Fury, the wife of heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury, has candidly discussed the challenges of raising seven children, revealing that she often feels as though she has a 'split family'. The reality TV star admitted that due to the age gap between her two teenagers and her younger children, she sometimes considers herself a mother of five.
Speaking on The Netmums Podcast, Paris explained: 'I always class it as like a split family. I have two that are teenagers, so 14 and 16. So they don't class as kids. I actually say all the time, I've got five kids because I class the little ones as the kids.' She confessed that the demands of such a large family can be overwhelming, stating, 'There is too much for me to do on my own.'
Reflecting on her early days of motherhood, Paris recalled feeling overwhelmed when she first gave birth to her eldest daughter, Venezuela, now 16. 'When you are a new parent and you've got this first baby, I actually just sat and cried when I had Venezuela and she was like a couple of days old and I didn't know how to bath her. I had no idea,' she shared.
Now, Paris relies on her teenagers to be more independent, though she notes that teenage tantrums remain a challenge. She praised Venezuela for being mature beyond her years, often acting as a second mother to her younger siblings. 'She's great because she's always been so much older for her age,' Paris said.
The comments come as Venezuela prepares to marry, following a lavish hen party at Morecambe Football Club. Paris documented the royal-themed celebration on Instagram, captioning a photo of her daughter with 'Proud mother moment'. The proud mum wore a white sparkly dress and accessorised with a pastel yellow Chanel bag for the occasion.
