Nepo Babies Dominate Party Scene as Blur's Alex James Admits He Can't Keep Up
During the peak of Britpop, Blur bassist Alex James lived the quintessential wild life of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. The 1990s saw him partying hard, with bands like Blur, Oasis, Suede, and Pulp providing the soundtrack for a generation's youth. This era also witnessed the rise of the Primrose Hill set, a group of celebrities based near Primrose Hill in North London, known for their hedonistic lifestyles.
Key members included Kate Moss, Jude Law, the Gallagher brothers, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Now, it appears the original lineup has passed the torch to their nepo baby children. Earlier this week, Alex James, 57, admitted he cannot keep pace with his five children's party lifestyle. Father to Geronimo, 21, twins Artemis and Galileo, 19, Sable, 17, and Beatrix, 15, he explained they party harder than he does these days.
With nepo babies storming the party world, fashionable bashes are incomplete without Lila Moss, the Gallagher children, or Iris Law on the guest list. This new generation is born to be wild, dominating the social scene with a vigour that leaves their parents in the dust.
Lila Moss
Following in her mother's footsteps, Lila Moss, 23, is carving a path as a model in the fashion industry, having made her runway debut with Victoria Secret in 2024. The nepo baby is no stranger to a good time, frequently seen at lavish parties with her peers. Last September, she celebrated her 23rd birthday in Paris, joined by Iris Law and Central Cee.
Daughter of supermodel Kate Moss, Lila looked elegant in an all-black ensemble, complete with chic trousers and a leather shoulder bag. She kept it simple, accessorising with a thin black belt and matching boots as she exited Le Costes. Lila landed her first modelling gig at age 15 with a Marc Jacobs Beauty campaign, just a year older than her mother was when she started.
Despite her mother's fame, Lila revealed that Kate tried to deter her from modelling. 'My mum always put me off [modelling],' Lila said. 'She was always like, 'If you want to do it, you can, but I wouldn't recommend it.'
Iris Law
Often by Lila's side is fellow nepo baby Iris Law. The pair frequently attend the same fashion events, such as the Victoria Secret Fashion Show in October. Iris, 25, daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, featured Lila in her 2025 Instagram roundup, showcasing their glamorous jet-setting and partying life together.
No stranger to a night out, Iris turned heads last year in a skimpy white, strapless cut-out dress at the Vogue party in London. Just two days earlier, she was seen leaving Chiltern Firehouse with rumoured love interest Central Cee. She also joined the nepo-baby gang at Charli XCX and H&M's London Fashion Week party in 2024.
Lennon, Gene, and Anais Gallagher
While their parents Liam and Noel Gallagher were locked in a bitter feud until their recent reunion tour, their children are best friends. Liam's sons Lennon and Gene, and Noel's daughter Anais, are regulars at A-list parties, making the most of last year's Oasis summer.
After the final show at Wembley, Noel joined the young brood at Chiltern Firehouse. Anais, 25, caught eyes in a smart sleeveless sweater, while cousins Lennon, 26, and Gene, 24, opted for similar jackets and jeans. Anais is also close friends with Charli XCX and has been seen partying with the Brat star.
In 2018, Liam admitted he doesn't stop his children from partying or 'treating girls bad'. He said, 'I haven't got a leg to stand on. I let them get on with it,' adding he tells them 'do what you want.'

Across the pond, nepo babies are also partying hard. Zoe Kravitz, 37, daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, is a fixture at Hollywood events. She recently attended W Magazine's annual party at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, stunning in a lime green satin dress.
In November, she enjoyed a girls' night out for Hailey Bieber's birthday in West Hollywood. Zoe also partied after the Golden Globes this month. Now dating Harry Styles, the couple has yet to make a joint appearance at an A-list party. Zoe admitted in 2022 to having a 'deep insecurity' about her famous parents but acknowledged it's normal in the family business.
Tigerlily Taylor
Another rockstar offspring, Tigerlily Taylor, 31, daughter of Roger Taylor, loves dressing up for nights out. She attends fashion events and high-profile parties, flaunting her designer wardrobe. In a long-term relationship with music producer Mkulu Lee, Tigerlily recognises her famous surname has opened doors.
'I view the term “nepo baby”... like, obviously I’m not delusional. I know who my dad is and I’m not ashamed,' she said. 'The name might open the door, but you’ve got to do the work and walk through it yourself.'
Apple Martin
Apple Martin, daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, is one to watch as she follows in her mother's footsteps. Currently a law student, she has dabbled in acting and music, and entered modelling with a GapStudio campaign alongside Gwyneth.
Gwyneth believes Apple will eventually pursue a similar career. 'She's doing a pre-law degree, but I think she's going to follow in my footsteps,' she said. Apple celebrated her 21st birthday in May 2025, with a glitzy debutante ball in Paris the year prior, and recently modelled for Self-Portrait.
