Lily Allen has confirmed she is in a relationship with Jonah Freud, the great-great-grandson of the renowned psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. The singer revealed the news in a recent interview with Grazia, where she simply referred to him as 'my boyfriend' when asked who she last texted.
The confirmation comes about a year after her split from Stranger Things actor David Harbour, and follows the release of her album 'West End Girl', which details the breakdown of their marriage. Allen has been seen with Jonah Freud in Paris and Rome, and they attended Paris Fashion Week together.
In an earlier interview, Allen described dating apps as 'depressing' and 'awful, especially if you’re going through heartbreak'. She has since been spotted multiple times with Freud, who is the great-great-grandson of Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis.
Allen's album 'West End Girl' was written and recorded in just 10 days after her marriage ended. She described it as 'an act of desperation' and insisted it was 'not a cruel album'. The record received a four-star review from NME and landed at number 13 on their list of the 50 Best Albums of 2025.
Allen is set to embark on a UK theatre and arena tour starting next week, with dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, and three nights at the London Palladium, plus a show at The O2 in June.
