Princess Andre, the 18-year-old daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre, has spoken candidly about growing up in the public eye and her new reality series, The Princess Diaries, on ITV2. The show, which has already made headlines, follows her life as she comes of age, with her father making regular appearances but her mother notably absent.
In a recent interview, Andre addressed the reported rift with her mother, saying she was 'too scared' to discuss the family situation openly. The show has sparked stories in the tabloids claiming Price is devastated not to have been invited to her daughter's 18th birthday party or included in the series. Andre, however, focused on her own ambitions, stating that she aims to become a successful businesswoman and eventually a billionaire.
Andre, who first appeared on TV as a baby in Katie & Peter: The Baby Diaries, said she has always loved being in front of a camera. Despite her mother's past as a Page 3 model, Andre said she would not consider topless modelling herself, noting that it 'just doesn't appeal to me'. She left school after her GCSEs, passing three subjects, and now studies beauty.
The young star also reflected on the challenges of social media, describing it as 'painful' at times. She remains close to her father and stepmother, Emily MacDonagh, who is also featured in the show. Andre's manager, Marie-Claire Giddings, works for Claire Powell, who managed Peter Andre after his divorce from Price.
