In a recent interview with NewBeauty, Fisher opened up about the challenges following her separation. 'It has been a really challenging time,' she confessed. 'I definitely feel like there's something about the divorce club that anyone in it understands in a way other people don't. It's a different grief.'

Despite the difficulties, Fisher has adopted an uplifting perspective on her new chapter. 'I feel like creating a new identity after your divorce is so fun, though,' she shared. 'You get to reflect on your values and goals, explore new interests, focus on what you want and rebuild your sense of self.'
She explained that this period has allowed her to reconnect with childhood passions that were set aside while raising a family. 'All the relationships that you have in your life that were not necessarily the forefront of the way that you spend your time, because you're married,' Fisher noted. 'Those relationships that are so supportive and brilliant and often really, really old get to retake centre stage. I think that's a really exciting thing.'

Fisher's approach to post-divorce life stands in stark contrast to that of her ex-husband. Just three months after their divorce was finalised, reports emerged that Sacha Baron Cohen, 54, had moved on with younger model Hannah Palmer, 27. The Borat star was later photographed with social media influencer Kelsey Calemine, 26, who is 28 years his junior.
Meanwhile, Fisher emphasised the positives she has found in her newfound independence. 'There are lots of positives that have come about from all this - like self-exploration and just trying to be kind to myself,' she said. 'I can just give myself grace whenever I like. That's all I'm trying to do.'
The actress appears to be embracing her freedom, enjoying the headspace and time to focus on herself as she navigates this new phase of her life.
