Just days before the new series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! launches with its star-studded lineup, fans are looking back at last year's champion - McFly singer Danny Jones.
The pop star triumphed in the 2024 series, beating fellow finalists Reverend Richard Coles and Coleen Rooney to be crowned King of the Jungle. His victory came more than a decade after his bandmate Dougie Poynter achieved the same feat.
Life After the Jungle
Following his jungle victory, Danny returned to his busy music career with McFly, touring alongside his bandmates Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd. The group also embarked on a joint tour with noughties sensations Busted, delighting fans across the country.
In a touching moment after leaving the camp, Danny emotionally reunited with his wife Georgia and their seven-year-old son Cooper. "It was the most beautiful moment of my entire life," he told The Mirror. "I remember Cooper's little smile and his little face which was so excited to see me... it was just pure love and emotion."
The musician, who had also won The Masked Singer just months before entering the jungle, described how his son had become "the talk of the school" during his father's jungle adventure.
The BRIT Awards Scandal
Earlier this year, Danny's personal life faced intense scrutiny when he was photographed kissing former Love Island star Maura Higgins at the BRIT Awards. The pair had previously appeared together on I'm A Celebrity.
The incident sparked a major showbiz scandal, with sources close to Danny describing him as "mortified about what's happened and the awful situation he has put everyone in."
After taking time away from the public eye, Danny issued a heartfelt apology to his fans and family. "I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation," he stated. "I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately."

Despite the personal challenges, Danny's professional career continues to flourish. He and bandmate Tom Fletcher are set to return to their roles as coaches on The Voice UK for the show's 14th series next year.
