I'm A Celebrity Medics on Alert Over 'Dangerous' Jungle Humidity

Medical staff on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! are reportedly on high alert due to extreme humidity levels in the Australian jungle. The ITV show launched this week with celebrities including Lisa Riley, Kelly Brook, Aitch, Jack Osbourne, and Alex Scott.

Humidity is said to be 20 percent higher than average for this time of year, with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. A source told The Sun: 'The celebs have been hit with some of the worst Australia has to offer this year from the word go. It's been a baptism of fire.'

Producers are particularly concerned about Jack Osbourne, who has multiple sclerosis. The NHS warns that hot conditions can worsen symptoms such as fatigue, muscle cramps, and vision problems. Osbourne was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS in 2012 after experiencing numbness in his legs and vision loss.

Medical teams have implemented measures including water-activated cooling towels to prevent fainting. A source said they are 'well prepared for situations like this'. Osbourne previously withdrew from Special Forces: World's Toughest Test in 2023 due to an elevated heart rate, though he said at the time: 'The show's doctors were more concerned than I was.'
