Helen Flanagan's ex-fiancé, footballer Scott Sinclair, appears to have responded cryptically on social media after the actress publicly called him a 'd**khead'. The former Coronation Street star, who shares three children with Sinclair, recently criticised him for missing their son Charlie's nativity play.
In a video posted to his Instagram stories, Sinclair was seen playing football with their daughter Delilah, while Matilda and Charlie watched. He captioned the clip: 'When she strolls in like she's just won an award' and added the song 'My Home' by Myles Smith, with lyrics emphasising his connection to his children.
The post came days after Flanagan told the Daily Mail: 'He's a d**khead, but I will always have love for him.' She added that she 'doesn't like him' and described their post-split relationship as 'hellish' and 'very challenging'. The couple now communicate only through her father, she said.
In her book 'Head & Heart', Flanagan revealed she suffered a mental health crisis after their split, including intrusive thoughts about harming her baby daughter and a delusion that a neighbour was conspiring with Sinclair to kill her. She described her mind as a 'battlefield' during that period.
Sinclair's representatives were contacted for comment about his social media post.
