Harry Clark Reveals Celebrity SAS 'Broke Me Physically and Mentally'

Harry Clark, the winner of The Traitors Series 2, has opened up about his gruelling experience on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, describing it as a journey that shattered him both physically and mentally.

The 23-year-old former Army engineer, who joined 14 other celebrities in the punishing Special Forces selection programme filmed in Wales, said the course was a necessary wake-up call. 'I sum up the whole experience as confusing because the course broke me physically and mentally. But that was actually the kick I needed,' he explained.

Clark, who served in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers before leaving the Army after his TV success, said the challenges helped him mature. 'It was definitely a growing point for me. That's what I've matured from, what's taught me that not everything goes perfectly to plan,' he added.

The reality star admitted he felt every possible emotion during the show, which strips participants of home comforts, social media and contact with loved ones. He said he hoped the experience would 'put me on the right path' after entering the entertainment industry.

Clark has previously spoken about struggling with mental health and feeling isolated despite a large family and friendship network. Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins airs Sundays and Mondays at 9pm on Channel 4 from August 3.
