Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has been pictured with his baby daughter for the first time in months, following her arrival over the summer. The actor, known for playing David Platt in the ITV soap filmed in Salford, and his wife Hanni Treweek announced in February on Valentine's Day that they were expecting their first child together, seven months after marrying at Manchester Cathedral in July.
At the end of June, the couple confirmed the birth of their daughter, marking the fourth time Jack has become a father. The soap star already has children Nyla Rae and Ruben with ex-girlfriend Lauren Shippey, and son Greyson with former partner Sammy Milewski.
First Photos and Birth Announcement
Hanni led the announcement on Instagram by sharing the first photo of their daughter, having not discovered the gender before the birth. The image showed Hanni and Jack holding their baby girl's tiny hand.
In a joint post, the couple wrote: "Constance Ita Shepherd[heart emoji] Our beautiful baby girl has arrived, born peacefully at home, surrounded by love." The post also revealed their daughter had arrived on Friday, with the date "26.6.26."
First Halloween in York
Jack and Hanni have largely kept their new addition out of the spotlight, but this week Hanni returned to Instagram to share how they enjoyed their first Halloween with their daughter. "Halloween magic in York with our little pumpkin," she captioned a string of images and videos of their celebrations.
Fans responded warmly, with @canuk76 saying: "York- one of my favourite places. Nothing like those baby cuddles. Enjoy every minute." @liz_illingsworth commented: "Beautiful photos." @kristykoutsogiannis wrote: "Sooooooo cute." @sandra_6301 added: "Beautiful pics guys. Love York."
Life Update and Fan Support
The Halloween post came after Hanni shared a life update last week, having not posted on her platform since July. Alongside photos and videos of her out and about with Constance, she told followers: "4 months postpartum, sold a house, finding a new one and a little bit obsessed with my baby girl. Sorry Instagram, real life got in the way."
The new mum was quickly flooded with messages of love and support. Corrie star Sue Devaney gushed: "Just beautiful!" @karenlouisegb said: "Beautiful pictures. Adorable." @karen.coller commented: "Gorgeous photos & creating beautiful memories together." @lindajones5382 wrote: "Fabulous pictures, you look an amazing little family with so much love." @amandaredfern2 replied: "Beautiful. Lovely to see you & your lovely little family." @jackie_porritt posted: "Lovely to see you back Hanni." @beverleyw2211 added: "You enjoy every minute of your beautiful baby girl."
