Next has released early Black Friday 2026 deals, offering discounts of up to 70% on thousands of items, including autumn and winter staples such as transitional jackets, jeans, and ankle boots. The retailer has not officially confirmed whether it will take part in the Black Friday weekend sale this year, but its clearance section online is regularly updated with bargains.
Early Deals on Autumn and Winter Staples
Shoppers can currently save on a range of items in Next's clearance sale. Highlights include a Neutral Lightweight Denim Funnel Neck Bomber Jacket, reduced from £48 to £24, and a Threadbare Cream Faux Suede Peter Pan Collar Cropped Jacket, down from £45 to £22.
Footwear deals include Chocolate Brown Snake Forever Comfort Square Toe Block Heel Ankle Boots, now £18.50 instead of £45, and Chocolate Brown Leather Forever Comfort Ruched Ankle Boots, reduced from £79 to £37. Denim options feature Grey Patch Pocket Wide Leg Jeans at £11 (was £42) and Light Blue Lightweight Denim Patch Pocket Cropped Jeans at £16 (was £38).
Black Friday and Cyber Monday Dates
Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27 this year, following the US Thanksgiving tradition. Cyber Monday is scheduled for Monday, November 30. While some deals go live before Black Friday, others appear at midnight or on the morning of the event itself.
Next did not take part in Black Friday last year or in any Black Friday since 2020. The retailer has not officially confirmed its participation this year, though it appears unlikely to change. It joins other high street retailers like Primark and Marks and Spencer in avoiding the shopping event, focusing instead on post-Christmas sales starting on Boxing Day.
Other Sales and Discounts
Outside of Boxing Day, Next typically releases sales in the spring and summer. The retailer also maintains a clearance section online, regularly updated with womenswear, menswear, home, kids, and baby clothes. Next does not appear to offer student or Blue Light discounts.
Some Black Friday deals can be shopped in-store, but most of the best deals are found online. With Black Friday four weeks away, some online retailers are already dropping early deals now.
