Brooklyn Beckham Hugs In-Laws Amid Feud; Cruz Comforts David

Brooklyn Beckham has shrugged off his family feud as he wrapped his arms around his in-laws, while his younger brother Cruz was praised for comforting their father, David, at the World Cup.

Brooklyn's Rainy Dinner with In-Laws

In new images shared on social media, the eldest of Sir David and Victoria Beckham's children was seen hugging his brother-in-law, Zach Peltz, as they enjoyed a "cute" rainy dinner together in Los Angeles. Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, shared the snap on Instagram, captioning it: "Cutest rainy sushi dinner."

Wannabe chef Brooklyn has been estranged from his family for several years and has severed all contact. But as the feud rumbles on, Brooklyn's younger brother, Cruz, was recently praised for embracing former footballer David at the World Cup.

Cruz Consoles David After England's Defeat

Meanwhile, 2,000 miles away in Atlanta, Cruz was seen consoling his dad after England's brutal 2-1 defeat by Argentina during the FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-final. Sir David and Victoria attended the match with Cruz, Romeo, and daughter Harper. Following Anthony Gordon's stunning goal, the family leapt from their seats in joy. However, as the game continued, Argentina's Lautaro Martinez scored a last-minute goal, giving the South Americans the victory and a place in the final.

But as the nation was left heartbroken, musician Cruz instantly hugged his Manchester United legend dad. "Beckham near to tears and being consoled by Cruz was the sweetest thing I've ever seen," said one social media user. A second added: "That hug between David and Cruz Beckham was wholesome."

Brooklyn Skips World Cup, Mocks Family in Ad

Despite Brooklyn's football heritage, he decided to skip attending any World Cup matches. Instead, he teamed up with DoorDash and poked fun at his family in a commercial. "You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home," he said in the commercial. Brooklyn laughed and threw match tickets onto the coffee table, saying it was a "long story." The words: "It's complicated, more soon," appeared on screen alongside the unused tickets and some rather poignant digs at his famous family, including an expensive watch, unused tickets, a camera, and burnt pizza.

Page Six reported that Brooklyn was paid a whopping $1 million to film his DoorDash advert, which criticised his dad time and again. A source told the publication: "It's a little cheesy. [But] anything that makes him money is good - it shows that his brand is there and flourishing."

No Signs of Feud Ending

And there are reportedly no signs that Brooklyn's feud with his family will end any time soon. On Father's Day, David shared snaps on his Instagram page, including an image of himself with Brooklyn as a child, and another with all four of his children. Captioning his post, David wrote: "Being a dad is my most important job – I love you all and thank you mummy @victoriabeckham for giving me our beautiful family. Happy Father's Day to all the Dads around the world."

Meanwhile, former singer Victoria also included Brooklyn in her tribute to David. Sharing snaps, she said: "David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father's Day."

However, while both of his parents had extended an olive branch, it was claimed that Brooklyn was left far from impressed. Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "He's fuming about it. He's asked them to leave him alone, and they just keep posting him. It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they'd leave it and leave him alone."
