Brooklyn Beckham's latest DoorDash advert is threatening the hugely successful Beckham brand his parents have forged, experts have warned. The 27-year-old's deal with the US-based firm saw him crack jokes about his fallout with Posh and Becks, earning a six-figure sum.
PR Expert Warns of Brand Damage
PR expert Mark Borkowski claimed that Brooklyn's antics will not only torch his own brand but also threaten that of his family. Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: 'This will not end well for the Beckhams. Money and fame don't buy happiness or indeed harmony. David and Victoria must forget the brand - it should be family first. This is a tragic soap opera. Wounding is not the word.'
He added that while Brooklyn may feel liberated by removing himself from the empire, it is causing huge damage to the couple. 'What makes this so painful is that everyone appears trapped inside a story they can no longer control.'
World Cup 2026 Advert Details
The advert for the World Cup 2026 sees Brooklyn giving away tickets to the football. He tells the camera: 'You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA 2026 World Cup from home. It's not like I don't have tickets, um, it's because... it's a long story.' He then hands over a bag of tickets to a DoorDash employee, saying: 'These can go to someone...else. Hey, put them somewhere fun!'
The latest advert comes just days after the first part caused a stir with fans as Brooklyn clearly referenced his family feud. In the first clip, he said: 'You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It's a long story,' before the video displayed the caption: 'It's complicated. More soon.'
Family Tensions Escalate
Days earlier, Brooklyn was not home when little sister Harper had tried to pay him a visit after their dad's Hollywood Walk of Fame honouring. Sources claimed that the 14-year-old had turned up 'unannounced,' leaving Brooklyn feeling 'uncomfortable.' After images of Harper leaving his home emerged, a source claimed to The Sun: 'Brooklyn and Nicola are aware that Harper visited their Los Angeles home. They have not responded. It felt like an orchestrated move by his family and made them feel uncomfortable.'
A spokesperson for Brooklyn later doubled down on the claim, telling Page Six: 'That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.' But the allegations angered sources close to Sir David and Victoria, who called them 'nasty allegations.' A source told the Daily Mail: 'It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother.'
