Beckhams Offer Olive Branch to Brooklyn After Feud Intensifies
Beckhams Offer Olive Branch to Brooklyn After Feud

Sir David and Victoria Beckham have seemingly offered their latest public olive branch to their son, Brooklyn, just days after he intensified the feud by seemingly poking fun at the fallout with his latest work. The aspiring chef and amateur photographer exposed the drama in the famous family in January in a bombshell statement he posted on social media, full of allegations against his family, notably his parents, accusing them of putting 'Brand Beckham' above all else.

Father's Day Messages Include Brooklyn

The Beckhams both posted a number of photos of former footballer David, 51, with his sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, as well as daughter Harper, including one of them all standing in the sea on a beach, and others with his children at different ages. David said in his Instagram post: 'Being a dad is my most important job, I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham For giving me our beautiful family. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads around the world.'

In her post, fashion designer Victoria, 52, wrote: 'David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day.'

Feud Background

Brooklyn's social media messages came amid rumours of a division at the heart of the Beckham family that had swirled since Brooklyn’s wedding to Nicola Peltz, the daughter of American billionaire Nelson Peltz, in 2022. The rumours also grew when Brooklyn was notably absent from various family gatherings, including David's 50th birthday party last May, while hanging out in London with his wife.

Former Spice Girl Victoria addressed the feud for the first time in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, and said she and Sir David 'love our children so much' and have 'always tried to be the best parents'.

Brooklyn's DoorDash Ad

Brooklyn has not made a public appearance with his parents nor acknowledged them on social media since his statement, but he recently made reference to the feud in a World Cup-themed advert for US food delivery firm DoorDash. In the ad, he says: 'You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets. Um… it’s because… it’s a long story.' He then opens the door to a delivery driver and hands over the tickets, saying: 'These can go to someone… else.' Brooklyn adds 'put them somewhere fun', and in a post on Instagram, told followers they could follow the delivery service’s account to find clues to where the tickets had been left.
