In a result that shocked absolutely no one but delighted everyone, the nation's favourite presenting partnership, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, have once again been crowned Best Presenter at the National Television Awards.
The dynamic duo secured their monumental 23rd consecutive win in the category, further cementing their status as the undisputed kings of British television. Their victory was announced during a glittering ceremony at London's O2 Arena.
Celebrations From Afar
Currently thousands of miles away on another assignment, the pair were unable to collect their golden trophy in person. They are busy preparing for the highly anticipated new series of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!', which is filming in South Africa for a special all-stars edition.
Instead, a pre-recorded video message was played to the audience, showing the beaming presenters in their sunny camp location.
A Grateful Acceptance
In their signature humble style, Ant began, "We are absolutely thrilled. We genuinely didn't expect to win this one because we're not on telly this year!"
Dec quickly added his thanks, saying, "Thank you so, so much. It means the world to us, especially when we're so far away from home. We're having a brilliant time here, we cannot wait for you to see the series."
He concluded the heartfelt message by directly addressing their loyal fans: "This is for you. Thank you so much for voting. We'll see you soon!"
