"I know she is at home, and she is going to be my biggest cheerleader... she really wanted me to do this because she knew that I wanted to test myself." She added that the pair are "genuinely so in love," and hopes the time apart will make the heart grow fonder.
While the notorious creepy crawlies and sleep deprivation are daunting, Scott believes the true challenge will be emotional. "I think for me, that might be the tough side," she said. "I have always been so guarded and had this big armour up as a way of protection... So I feel like being in the jungle and having those conversations, maybe I will have to show a vulnerable side and not have that armour up so much."
