Alex Scott's £2m Net Worth Revealed Ahead of I'm A Celeb Jungle Entry
Alex Scott's £2m Net Worth Revealed for I'm A Celeb

Former Arsenal footballer and acclaimed television presenter Alex Scott is embarking on her most daunting adventure yet as she enters the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle for the 2025 series. This comes as details of her impressive financial success and personal life come to light.

From the Pitch to a £2 Million Fortune

Alex Scott has built a remarkable career since her days as a professional footballer, amassing a reported net worth of £2 million. A significant contributor to this wealth is her role at the BBC, where she is reportedly one of the corporation's highest-paid presenters. Her annual salary is said to be a substantial £220,000.

Her success is also reflected in her living situation. Since 2021, Scott has resided in a stunning £1.5 million mansion, which she shares with her girlfriend, the singer Jess Glynne. The luxurious property boasts a private gym and a garden, features that Scott occasionally showcases in her online home workout videos. Her interior design taste shines through with stylish cream-coloured furniture and vibrant plants adding splashes of colour.

The Emotional Challenge of the Jungle

Ahead of her jungle debut, Alex Scott has opened up about the personal hurdles she expects to face, revealing that the experience will be more of an emotional test than a physical one. She confessed that being surrounded by large personalities will push her out of her comfort zone.

"I will need to push myself to speak out around all of the different and big personalities," Scott told ITV. "Not going into myself for being the shy one will be my big challenge. People see you on TV and they assume you are outgoing, that loud person but take me to red carpets or events and I am the one in the corner."

Missing a Loved One and Lowering Her Guard

One of the most significant sacrifices for Scott is being separated from her partner, Jess Glynne. She admitted that her time in the jungle will mark the longest the couple have ever been apart. Despite the difficulty, she revealed that Jess was the one who encouraged her to accept the ITV show's offer.

"It is a test for both of us," Scott shared with The Mirror. "I know she is at home, and she is going to be my biggest cheerleader... she really wanted me to do this because she knew that I wanted to test myself." She added that the pair are "genuinely so in love," and hopes the time apart will make the heart grow fonder.

While the notorious creepy crawlies and sleep deprivation are daunting, Scott believes the true challenge will be emotional. "I think for me, that might be the tough side," she said. "I have always been so guarded and had this big armour up as a way of protection... So I feel like being in the jungle and having those conversations, maybe I will have to show a vulnerable side and not have that armour up so much."
