Adam Peaty's Mum Reaches Out to Ex After Family Wedding Drama Erupts
Adam Peaty's Mum Contacts Ex Amid Family Wedding Feud

The mother of Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty has made a public gesture of support towards his former partner, as tensions within the Peaty family continue to escalate just weeks before his wedding to Holly Ramsay.

Family Rift Deepens Ahead of Nuptials

Caroline Peaty recently left a heartfelt comment on the Instagram post of Eiri Munro, the mother of Adam's five-year-old son George. The sweet exchange comes amid a dramatic fallout that has seen the majority of Adam's family disinvited from his upcoming wedding to celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's daughter.

The public display of affection between Caroline and Eiri occurred when Eiri shared photographs from what appeared to be a family member's wedding celebration. Caroline commented: "your mum looks beautiful as do u all x," to which Eiri warmly responded: "@caroline_peaty doesn't she thank you."

Hen Party Snub Sparks Family Conflict

The roots of the current family drama trace back to Holly Ramsay's hen party, held at exclusive members' club Soho House, from which Caroline Peaty was notably excluded. The snub prompted criticism from Adam's aunt, Louise Williams, who took to social media to express her disapproval.

As tensions mounted, the situation took a more serious turn when Adam Peaty was escorted through Manchester Airport by five police officers upon returning from his stag do in Budapest. This security measure followed a reported tip-off from Holly regarding an alleged threat from Adam's brother, James.

The relationship between the Peaty brothers has been strained for years, initially deteriorating when Adam disclosed details of James' addiction struggles in his 2021 autobiography. The brothers reportedly fell out again earlier this year during building work James was undertaking for Adam, and they haven't spoken since.

Emotional Fallout and Wedding Uncertainty

In an emotional interview with the Daily Mail, Caroline Peaty revealed the profound impact the family rift has had on her. She explained that during Holly's hen party, she was caring for Adam's son George at home.

"I was crying all the way home," Caroline confessed. "I got home and told [husband] Mark that for the first time in my life, I felt I didn't want to live. That's how low this has made me. I'm a strong woman, and I can get through anything, but this has broken me."

The wedding is confirmed to take place next month in Bath, though the exact date remains undisclosed. As preparations continue, Adam's sister is reportedly still invited to the ceremony, while other family members, including his mother and brother, have been excluded.

James Peaty was arrested at his home in connection with the alleged threats and has since been released on bail. The Mirror has contacted representatives for both Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay for comment on the ongoing family situation.
