Men in Blazers host first UK show at Everton's stadium

Men in Blazers will host their first UK show at Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday, August 17, at 6.30pm. The event marks a milestone for the popular US football platform, which has never before produced a show in England.

Roger Bennett's homecoming

For Liverpool-born founder Roger Bennett, the night carries deep personal significance. A third-generation Blue, Bennett has built Men in Blazers into the largest independent football platform in the US, counting former Everton players Tim Howard and Landon Donovan among its influential figures. His previous Everton shows took place in Washington DC during Frank Lampard's reign and in New York last summer.

This will be the first show recorded with his mum in the audience, a detail Bennett described as moving. He told the ECHO: "It will be the first time my mum will be at one of our shows, which is very moving. I am honestly looking forward to raising a pint with her and with fellow Blues as much as anything."

Star-studded lineup

Bennett will be joined on stage by four current Everton players: new signings Christian Norgaard and Hayden Hackney, along with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and James Garner. The show follows a 10-day UK tour that included filming with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Wrexham, plus a live stream of a Tottenham pre-season game.

Bennett called the event "the culmination of a 10-day stretch" and said returning home to set up the Everton season at Hill Dickinson was "really humbling" and "an honour and a total joy - like being able to talk about The Odyssey with Odysseus himself."

Tickets and further information are available for the show, which begins at 6.30pm on Monday.
