Liam Gallagher has confirmed that Oasis will tour again in 2027, following the massive success of their Live '25 reunion tour. The 53-year-old rock star and his brother Noel, 59, stunned fans when they reunited in 2025 after 16 years of bitter feuding and band dissolution. The tour reportedly generated an estimated £300 million in profits from global gigs, prompting the brothers to continue their collaboration.
No New Music, But Plenty of Gigs
However, the Wonderwall singer dashed hopes for a new album during a Q&A session on X (formerly Twitter). When a fan pleaded, “Oasis new album please please please I’m sorry but I think the new album will actually change lives,” Liam replied: “No, I’m just not prepared for the criticism if it doesn’t sell 100 million copies in the 1st hour, cure bad breath and constipation for the nation, if it doesn’t turn back time for Cher and some other s**t, let’s just go to some gigs and be happy, thank you.”
Another fan asked if the song Gas Panic! would be included in the setlist, to which Liam answered, “Of course.” When asked what new Oasis music might sound like, Liam said: “I’d like to think it’d still sound like Oasis and we hadn’t turned into a bunch of electronic umbrellas trying so desperately to keep up with the KIDS, do you get me, bruv?”
Planned Residencies at Etihad and Knebworth
Reports indicate that Oasis is planning a 12-date residency at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium in 2027, plus six dates at Knebworth as a nod to their iconic 1990s shows. These performances are expected to be the main events of the tour.
Liam’s Countryside Life
Liam has spent much of the weekend engaging with fans on X, updating them on his new life in the Cotswolds. The Mancunian star reportedly left London at the end of last year, buying the former home of football star Tony Adams for £4.25 million. When a fan asked, “Liam how are the Cotwolds people treating you, any friendly neighbours?” he replied: “They’re absolutely incredible, they have not stopped baking me cakes and scones.”
The singer now counts Simon Cowell, the Beckhams, and Kate Moss as neighbours, all owning multimillion-pound properties in the area. He lives in the five-acre manor house with fiancée Debbie Gwyther, 43, and their dog Buttons. A source told The Sun: “Liam loves the countryside and the house is the perfect retreat following the mammoth Oasis tour. Liam is also very fond of his rescue dog, Buttons, so he wanted to find a home with plenty of outdoor space. He loves hosting so is looking forward to welcoming friends and family to the home.”
