Brian Ashley, of Whickham, died peacefully on 28th September 2026, aged 89. Service at St Mary the Virgin Parish Church, Whickham on Friday 16th October at 10.15am, followed by interment at Garden House Cemetery.

Norma Lily Blakemore, of Forest Hall, died peacefully at home on 15th September, aged 93. Service at Tynemouth Crematorium Chapel on Friday 16th October at 11.15am, followed by interment at Benton Cemetery. Donations to The British Heart Foundation.
Sylvia Blueitt (née Watson, formerly May), of Wardley, died suddenly but peacefully at Pinetree Lodge Care Home on 22nd September 2026, aged 88. Service at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday 16th October at 12 noon. Donations to Alzheimer's Research and Pinetree Lodge Care Home.
Jill Boyd, of Ponteland, died peacefully after a short illness on 24 September 2026 at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester, aged 89. Cremation at Stockport Crematorium on 22 October at 1.45pm. An interment service will be held in Ponteland at a later date. Donations to Alzheimer's Society.
