A new free London installation is to celebrate the career of Madonna for her 68th birthday.
The interactive display, called C’mon Meet Me On The Dancefloor, will launch on the Vogue singer’s birthday on Sunday August 16, and feature music and 360-degree video at Outernet London in Tottenham Court Road.

Fans will be able to leave a personal message at the exhibit, with a curated selection appearing on the venue’s big screens.
Philip O’Ferrall, Outernet chief executive said: “Great cultural moments are about bringing people together and that is exactly what we want Outernet to do.
“Madonna has inspired audiences and artists for generations so it is a complete privilege to be able to celebrate her and her connection with fans in such a creative and interactive way.”
Recent chart success
The installation will run at selected times throughout the day on Sunday, with timings available on Outernet’s website.
It comes after the American singer, whose full name is Madonna Louise Ciccone, released her latest album Confessions II earlier this year, and achieved her biggest UK hit single in 17 years with Love Sensation, a collaboration with Australian star Kylie Minogue.
The single’s place at number eight in the UK singles chart extended her run as the female artist with the most top 10 singles in Official Chart history, with the track becoming her 65th UK top 10 single.
Historic chart record
Only two artists in history boast more UK Top 10 singles: Elvis Presley with 76 and Cliff Richard with 68.
Madonna’s 65 Top 10 hits span four different decades, the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2020s.
The singer’s best known songs include Holiday, Like A Virgin, Like A Prayer, Into The Groove, and Material Girl.
