Draw times and how to win
The Euromillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday, with tickets priced at £2.50. This includes automatic entry into the UK Millionaire Maker draw, which creates new UK millionaires every week.
Players must match all five main numbers and two lucky star numbers to claim the jackpot. If you have two numbers, or one number and two lucky stars, or better, then you are a winner.
Thunderball draw details
The Thunderball draw takes place first at 8pm, followed by the Euromillions draw at around 8.15pm. The Thunderball winner pockets £500,000 if they match five numbers along with the crucial Thunderball number.
Previous winners
A Welsh couple achieved the impossible last year, after winning the lottery for the second time. Faye Stevenson-Davies, 43, a mental health practitioner, and her husband, Richard Davies, 49, first became millionaires in June 2018 after winning £1 million through the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker draw. Seven years later, their luck struck again when they matched five numbers and the Bonus Ball in the Lotto draw on November 26, 2025, securing another £1 million.
