Housing market correction
An article published on July 28 about the London housing market incorrectly stated that average house prices in the capital had fallen by 2.5% in the second quarter of 2026. In fact, the decline was 1.8%, according to data from the Office for National Statistics. The error arose from a misinterpretation of the figures.
NHS waiting lists clarification
A report on July 30 about NHS waiting lists said that the number of patients waiting more than 18 weeks for treatment had risen to 7.2 million. We would like to clarify that this figure referred to England only, not the whole of the UK. The UK-wide figure, which includes data from Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, was 8.1 million.
