He was reunited with his wife Ann, and is survived by his mother Agnes, father Arthur, brothers James and Bernard, sisters Betty, Agnes, and Ann, and his children Shirley, Julie, Peter, and Carl. Gerry Arbuthnot

Gerry Arbuthnot passed away peacefully at home on 1st July 2026 aged 75, surrounded by his family. He was a devoted husband to Lynn, loving father to Laura and Adam, father-in-law to Sooz, son to Martha and the late Gerald, and brother to Richie and Linda. His motto was 'Nil Satis Optimum.' A funeral service will be held at Anfield Crematorium on Thursday 23rd July 2026 at 2:40pm. Family flowers only; donations to Clatterbridge Centre are welcome.

Michael Francis Louie Baccino

Michael Francis Louie Baccino died on 1st July 2026 aged 72. He is reunited with his son Michael. His wife Cathy and family remember him with the words 'You'll never walk alone.' Michael Delahunty passed away peacefully on 26th June 2026 aged 80. He was reunited with his parents Francis and Ann, and is survived by his brother Francis, sister Elizabeth, son Paul, grandchildren Joseph and the late Phoebe. A funeral service will take place on Friday 24th July at 9:45am at St Timothy's Church, followed by committal at Anfield Crematorium. Family flowers only.

Florence Forster

Florence 'Flo' Forster died peacefully in hospital aged 87. She was a loving mother to Stephen and Sue, and grandmother and great-grandmother. Known as 'Nanny Flo,' she is remembered as a 'Dancing Queen.' A funeral service will be held on Friday 17th July at 1:15pm at Springwood Crematorium, Myrtle Chapel. Donations to Kidney Research UK are welcome.

Mary and Carl Gardner

Mary and Carl Gardner died within days of each other. Mary was described as the life and soul of family gatherings, and Carl was the apple of her eye. Their bond was rare and precious. They are survived by Francis, Ann, and families. The family takes comfort knowing Mary is singing with their Nan and holding Carl close again.

George Gick

George 'The Fish' Gick died on 29th June 2026. He was a beloved husband of Anne, father of Carla, and grandfather of Elizabeth, Abigail, and Alfie. A service and cremation will be held at Springwood Crematorium on Friday 31st July at 3:30pm. No flowers; donations to the British Heart Foundation are appreciated.

Joan Gogarty

Joan Gogarty (née Christian) passed away peacefully on 10th July 2026 aged 82. She was reunited with her husband Jimmy, and is survived by her children Cathy, Joanne, James, John, and Tommy, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday 24th July at 10am at Springwood Crematorium. Donations to Marie Curie Woolton are welcome.

Michael James Greenop

Michael 'Mike' Greenop died peacefully at home after a long illness aged 88, surrounded by his family. He was a loving husband of Ann for 62 years, father of Jane, Tracy, and Robert, and grandfather of Grace, Katy, Macy, Matthew, and Buddy. A funeral service will be held on Monday 20th July at All Saints and St Frideswyde, followed by cremation at Thornton Crematorium. Family flowers only.

Philip William Harrop

Philip William Harrop, born 20th August 1951, passed away peacefully on 1st July 2026. He was a much-loved uncle, brother-in-law, and nephew, and is reunited with his late fiancée Sheila. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 28th July at St Helens Crematorium at 2:00pm. Mourners are asked to wear something red for his love of Liverpool FC. Stephen Matthew Kelly died on Wednesday 24th June 2026. He is remembered as taken too early and always remembered. He is survived by his brothers Peter, Joseph, and sister Francesca.

Stephen Kelly, aged 57, was a loving son of Maureen and the late Mike, brother of Peter, Michael, and Elizabeth, father of Sean, Louis, Jeanette, and Rebekah, and grandfather of Oonagh and Oliver. A Requiem Mass will be held on Friday 31st July at Saint Clare's Roman Catholic Church, followed by burial at Yew Tree Cemetery. Flowers welcome.

John Ian McCartney

John Ian 'Ian' McCartney passed away at Whiston Hospital surrounded by his family. He was a loving partner to Jane, devoted father to Hayley, Niall, Daniel, Stephanie, and Holly, and grandfather to Connie, Bobby, Skylar, and Nova. Described as the funniest man and the life of every party, he will be deeply missed. A funeral service will take place on Friday 17th July at 3:30pm at Springwood Crematorium.

Anne Meadows

Anne Meadows, born 9th August 1949, died peacefully at home on 26th June 2026 aged 76. She was reunited with her husband Terry. She was a loving mother, nan, great nan, sister, aunt, and friend. Known for her love of pool, darts, and bingo, she was the heart of her family. A funeral service will be held on Friday 17th July at Mount Carmel Church, followed by committal at Springwood Crematorium. Mourners are welcome to wear red or yellow as a tribute.
