A Love Island star living in Dubai has revealed plans to hide her family in a storage cupboard amid heightened tensions in the Middle East. Arabella Chi, who appeared on the reality show, said she is the 'most scared she’s ever been in her entire life' following Iran’s retaliatory strikes.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Monday, Chi explained that she moved to the United Arab Emirates six months ago with her partner and newborn baby. She said residents in Dubai have been advised to stay away from windows, prompting her to clear out a windowless storage cupboard to serve as a makeshift shelter.
'If we do hear a bang and feel like we need to escape, that's where we would go,' she told the programme. The star’s comments come as tensions escalate across the region, with many expatriates in the UAE taking precautionary measures.
