Iranian Mother Pleads After Airstrike Leaves Daughter in Coma

The mother of a four-year-old Iranian girl has issued a plea to Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu after her daughter was left in a coma following a US-Israeli airstrike that destroyed their home.

Anita sustained severe head injuries after being pulled from the rubble. She had been playing with her brother when the strike occurred. According to Sky News, doctors have said she is unlikely to survive.

Speaking to Sky's international affairs editor Dominic Waghorn, Anita's mother, Zeebar, said: "Why did this happen to us, to innocent people, my innocent four-year-old girl who was only going downstairs to come to me? They've taken away our safety, our happiness, and the health of our children."
