The annual Mears Golf Day raised £45,510 for St Andrew’s Hospice, bringing the total raised over the past 11 years to almost £250,000 for the Airdrie hospice.
Event at Pollok Golf Club
The event at Pollok Golf Club brought together 88 golfers and 10 evening guests, including colleagues, contractors and supply chain partners from across the Mears network. Despite a rainy start, everyone enjoyed an afternoon of golf, networking and fundraising, with the generosity of those attending helping to make this year’s event another memorable success.
Support for hospice care
These funds provide vital support to the hospice, helping it deliver compassionate care to patients and families across Lanarkshire.
A special mention goes to Mears apprentices Leah Boyle, Jamie Boyle and Louis Campbell, whose enthusiasm, energy and determination throughout the day helped raise even more money for the hospice.
