Asda has launched a new offer that gives shoppers £30 back when they spend £60 or more online, effectively halving the cost of a food shop. The deal is available to millions of first-time online customers who register for Asda email marketing.
How to Claim the Half-Price Offer
To qualify, shoppers must be new online customers and opt into Asda email marketing via the Asda website or app. They then need to spend at least £60 on their first grocery order, excluding delivery charges and other exclusions. After that, they receive a £30 eVoucher to use toward the shop, along with one month of free delivery.
Asda confirmed the offer on Thursday, October 22, and it runs until December 31, 2026. The supermarket's website states the eVoucher code should arrive within two hours, though social media users have reported receiving it within minutes.
Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions state: "For new customers only who opt into email marketing via the Asda.com website or Asda App by 31st December 2026. Total first order value must be a minimum of £60 excluding delivery charges and after any other discounts or promotions have been applied. Online only. Asda reserve the Right to withdraw this offer at any time."
Exempt items include alcohol, fuel, lottery, tobacco, e-cigarettes, gift cards, mobile top-ups, infant formula, kiosk, opticians, pharmacy, and stamps.
Christmas Delivery Slots and Delivery Pass
Asda has also opened its Christmas home delivery and Click & Collect slots. Customers can reserve a slot up to December 23, and can add to or amend their online basket until 11pm the night before delivery.
The supermarket offers a Delivery Pass subscription, starting from £3.95 per month, or an annual option that can save up to £194 per year when paid in advance. The pass provides priority access to slots, flexible delivery options, and regular slots. Asda adds: "We're so confident that Delivery Pass will save you money that we'll check at the end of the year. If it hasn't, we'll give you the difference in an eVoucher."
