A-Level Results 2026: Grade Boundaries for AQA, OCR, Edexcel

Students across England and Wales will receive their A-level results on Thursday, August 13, with grades released from 8am. The results may determine what the next three years of their lives look like, as university offers are released on UCAS from around 8am, confirming places, rejecting applications, or routing students through clearing.

Grade Boundaries Published by Exam Boards

At the same time, exam boards will publish grade boundaries for exams, allowing students to see how many marks were needed for each grade. This information helps students understand how close they came to achieving the next grade up and whether to request a remark if they missed out on a university place.
